Wesley Michael Bizilia

Wesley Michael Bizilia, age 74, a native of Sayre, Penn., and resident of Fairhope, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011.

He was a basketball player at Livingston University, coached at Fairhope High School, McGill High School, University Military School, Auburn University, Troy University, and finished as assistant principal at Fairhope Middle School.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Swain Bizilia of Fairhope; a son, Son, Kevan (Linda) Bizilia of Opelika; two daughters, Susie (Duane) McFarland of Port St. Joe, Fla., and, Katherine Bizilia of Fairhope,; three sisters Diane Flannery, Jennie Marie Honeywell, Mary Jane Kerr, all of Los Angeles; a brother, Ronnie Fossaceca of Jamesville, N.Y.;

nine grandchildren, Lindsey Railey, Mary Katherine Willis, Laurie, Michael, David, Jonathan, and Andrew Bizilia, Kenny and Anna McFarland; two great- grandchildren, Camden and Shepherd; an aunt, Molly Zello of Sayre, Penn.; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 25, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 26, at 2 p.m., at Marlow United Methodist Cemetery in Summerdale.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to your favorite charity.
