Mildred T. Bales, 79, of Elba Highway in Troy died Monday, Nov. 29 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 11:30 a.m. with Dr. Milton Cutchen officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy.

Survivors include, daughter, Patrice (Larry) Torbush of Winder, Ga.; son, Bill (Colleen) Bales of West Palm Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Kristopher Bales; Alycia Wilson; great grandchild, Brandon Torbush; nieces and nephews, Dot and William Howard of Troy; Julia Frances of Stone Mountain, Ga.; Jerry and Beverly Newman of Pensacola, Fla.; Fred and Mable Voegeli of Ga.; Cheryl and Jack Harvey of Marietta, Ga.; Maudine Bremer of Atlanta; Benita Stern of Mobile, Ala.; Bill and Julia Colvin of Juliette, Ga.; Nancy Sims and Bonnie Clements of Greenville, Ala.; Sara, Misha and Carlisle Towery formerly of Troy; and several cousins.

Visitation will be at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 10 to 11 a.m.
