Three schools will be involved in the South Eastern Athletic Conference tournament starting Thursday night in Goshen.
The Goshen Eagles will play host to SEAC member schools Brantley and Highland Home. Fellow members, Luverne and McKenzie had other prior commitments and will be unable to participate.
Eagles head coach Major Lane said that Goshen(4-1) would be given a bye Thursday night and would play the winner of Thursday’s game between Brantley(2-0) and Highland Home(1-2) on Friday night at 8:00pm for the championship. Brantley defeated the Flying Squadron Tuesday night, 78-54 and is currently ranked No.3 in class 1A.
The Lady Eagles(0-5) will be in action also taking on the Brantley Lady Bulldogs(1-2) on Thursday night at 6:00pm. The winner will play Highland Home(3-0) on Friday night in the early game.
This coming weekend will mark the end of basketball for Goshen until January 4th at home against rival Pike County.
