Robert Wayne Carlisle, 42, of Troy died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 1999 at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home with the Rev. L.C. McMillianofficiating. Burial will follow at Carroll Street Cemetery with George F. Grubbs Funeral Home directing.

Carlisle was born Oct. 27, 1957 in Troy. His parents are Lillie Florence Daniels and Robert Carlisle.

Survivors include his mother, Lillie Florence; five sisters, Alicia Whatley of Troy, Commie Carter and Annette Whatley of Montgomery, Mary O’Donnell of San Francisco, Calif., and Jody Hampton of Wetumpka; an aunt, Mary Elizabeth Grimes; an uncle, O.C. Grimes; nephews, Jared, Gerrod (Tina), Terrance, Lerone, Kevin (Nicole), Derrick, Michael, Terrence LeRon and Malik; one niece, Zaleka, cousins, Cassandra Kelly and Willie J. Flagin, and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends. Floralbearers will be neighbors and friends.

Sara Eloise Horn Pippin

Sara Eloise Horn Pippin, 73, of Bermuda Street, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999 in the Ozark Nursing Facility.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 1999 at Holman Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Aman officiating. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Holman Funeral Home directing.

Pippin was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Tolbert Pippin, and two brothers, Joe Horn and Vernon Horne and one great-grandson Stephen Miller.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn E. and Terry Miller of Bartlett, Tenn.; one stepdaughter, Patricia Taylor of Pelham; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Horn of Ozark; two sisters-in-law, Jessie Horn of Montgomery and Clara Horne of Tifton, Ga.; two grandchildren, David A. Miller of Bartlett, Tenn., and Jennifer L. Grehan of Virginia, and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Dec. 27. the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Dec. 26.

Jane G. Stephens

Jane G. Stephens, 65, of Glenwood, died Wednesday, Dec 22, 1999 at her home.

Serviceswere held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999 with the Rev. Elbert Smith officiating. Burial followed at Henderson Memorial Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include her husband, James W. Stephens Sr of Glenwood; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Michael Sanders of Goshen; and son and daughter-in-law, James and Marilyn Stephens of Elba; grandchildren, Melixxa Sanders, Mary Beth Sanders, Julie Sanders, Brian and Chris Rhodes; sisters Eavie Ammons of Troy, Ivy Fuller of Opp, and Ann Maule of Jacksonville, Fla;brothers, Lamar Grant of Glenwood, and Gilmer Grant of Glenwood.
