Baybears 16, Jammers 6

The Baybears took their fifth win of the season with a 16-6 victory over the Jammers Monday.

Jill Jennings was the winning pitcher, registering eight strike outs for the Baybears, who improved to 5-0 on the year.

For the Baybears, Marlie Wilkes had a double and a single, Tiffany Upshaw had two singles, Marley Hughes had a double, and Jessica Pearlstein and Ebony Grimes each had a single.

Hannah Spann had two home runs for the Jammers and Erica Henderson had one home run. Kaylee Barnes, Kristen Dease, Ashlie Mehaffey, Kayla Foreman, and Kewanda Knight all had hits as well.

Jammers 12, Rumblers 6

The Jammers beat the Rumblers 12-6 Monday, improving to 4-1 on the year.

Whitney Johnson had two doubles and a single for the Jammers. Katie Boswell and April Headley both had a double and a single and Brittany Ledford and Katie Boutwell each had a single.

Blair Wise had a single for the Rumblers and Heather West had five strike outs in four innings pitched.
