Coach Larry Blakeney and his Trojan football players and all the players and coaches from Charles Henderson and Pike Liberal Arts will be beneficiaries of the "biggest wild game dinner in the history of Troy," when the Bush Memorial Church Brotherhood attempts to feed all three teams and staffs on August 21st in the Church’s Christian Leadership Center.
In order to pay for the huge food bill, the Brotherhood is sponsoring a car wash this Saturday morning, July 14, from 8 to noon in the church parking lot on George Wallace Drive.
"We’d like everyone in Troy to have their car washed and make a donation to feeding our favorite football players," said Aubrey Barker representing the Brotherhood. "We anticipate 250 folks in attendance, and that’s a lot of food.
Hopefully Troy will come through again, supporting the kids and getting clean cars to boot."
