Red Level avenges 2000 loss to Goshen

The Red Level Tigers continued their winning streak Friday night with a 35-17 win over the Goshen Eagles at Crystal Springs Memorial Park.
The win improves the Tigers record to 3-2 on the season and 2-0 in region play.
Goshen falls to 2-3 and 1-1 in Class 2A Region 3.
Goshen struggled their way to a 3-0 lead in the first quarter on a 13- yard field goal by Averick Rogers.
Red Level answered back with a series of two touchdowns by Clinton Jackson. He scored on runs of 80 and 10 yards.
Red Level Head Coach Tim Grimes said the rushing success was a team effort.
"Clinton Jackson ran good, and the offensive line fired off the ball great."
Red Level Quarterback Larenzo Pryor muscled his way to a two-yard touchdown in the middle of the third quarter, which gave Red Level a of 21-3 lead.
Goshen answered with a 36-yard touchdown pass from Rogers to Damian Pelton.
Red Level scored soon after that on a 59-yard run by Cole Carroll.
Following Red Level’s score, Goshen retaliated with a 43-yard pass to Derrick Foster from Rogers for their second touchdown of the game.
Jackson ended the Eagles hopes of a comeback wit a 29-yard run to put the Tigers up 35-17.
Jackson ended the game with 26 carries totaling 250 yards.
Red Level will be celebrating their homecoming with a regional game against Barbour County at Crystal Spring Stadium on
Friday Oct. 5 at 7:30p.m.
The Eagles will look to rebound at home against Georgiana next week in Goshen.
