Lady Patriots beat Hooper, 6-4

The Lady Patriots of Pike Liberal Arts School downed Hooper Academy on Tuesday, 6-4.

PLAS scored two runs in the sixth inning to break the 4-4 tie.

Whitney Johnson earned the win on the mound for the Lady Patriots, striking out four, walking four and giving up eight hits.

Lindy Lunkenheimer had a triple and a single to lead PLAS at the plate. Mallory Hughes had a home run and Miranda Paul added a double. Amanda Hayes had a triple also for the Lady Patriots.
