Charlie Barr
Charlie Barr, 96, of Troy who died
Sunday, March 31, 2002,
at Pike Manor Health Care Center in Troy will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at Springfield Baptist in Brundidge with Rev. Bobby Peters officiating.
Burial
will be in Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of
Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2002, at Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge.
Mr. Barr’s
was born on October 29, 1905, in Pike County.
His parents were Will and Muadie Jackson Barr. Mr. Barr was a farmer and attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors are a son, Charlie Ray Barr of Ariton; six daughters and husbands, Sara Barr, Nan and Everett Singleton, Mary Barr, Annette Barr, Linda and Ray Berry and Alanor Barr all of Ariton; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, David Barr and one sister Madie Turner both of Phenix City.
