Services for Leontene Anne Smart Dykes, 77, of Troy who died Thursday, April 18, 2002, in Troy was at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2002, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Maddox officiating.
Burial was in Ramah Cemetery in Josie under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.
Visitation was from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2002, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Larry S. and Martha Dykes of Banks; granddaughter, Bailee Dykes of Banks and several nieces and cousins.
Pallbearers are Gene Harrison, Joe Frank Harrison, Bill Hixon, Arthur Clyde King, Robert Meredith and Mac Seay.
Levy Barron
Levy Barron, 79, of Luverne died Friday, April 19, 2002, at Luverne Nursing Home.
Visitation will be Sunday April 21, 2002, from 5-7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Monday, April 22, 2002, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dan Marler officiating. Burial will follow in Henderson Memorial Cemetery in Henderson with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Survivors include: a son, Robert Barron of Forrest Home; a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Bill Lee of Prattville; daughter and son-in-law, Erma and Rick Hamm of Henderson; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Dianne Barron of Montgomery, daughter, Nancy Hussey of Henderson; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Tim Ellis of Brundidge; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Ila Bell Trotter of Montgomery and a sister, Winnie Mae Qualls of Panama City, Fla.

Teddy Joe McQuagge, 36, 1117 County Road 17, Troy, died Friday, April 19, 2002.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 21, 2002, from 6-8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 22, 2002, at 11 a.m. in Dillard Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Survivors include: his mother, Margaret McQuagge of Troy; a sister and brother-in-law, Debora and Billy Martin of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Joy Lowery of Troy; a brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Diane McQuagge of Troy; a brother, Tony McQuagge of Troy; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeffery and Sandy McQuagge of Troy; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Keith Norton of Troy; a brother an sister-in-law, Scott and Angie McQuagge of Troy; a sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Charlie Leverette of Henderson; a grandmother, Lucille Powell of Troy; 12 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ben McQuagge; a sister, Gail McQuagge and two brothers, Dale and Noland McQuagge.
Pallbearers will be Louis Brown, Ray Lowery, Robby Newman, Eric Rushing, Richard Thomas and Mark Tillery.
