Naomi K. White
Services for Naomi K. White, 80, of Troy who died Sunday, April 21, 2002, at her home will be at two p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating.
Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at the funeral home.
Naomi was a long time member of
Southside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Comeron Carroll and her parents, Shelby and Julia Killingsworth.
Survivors include a husband, Cullen White of Troy; uncle, Fred Killingsworth of Norcross, Ga.; aunts, Connie Lou Baker of Phenix City and Ida Lucas of Bradington, Fla.; three double first cousins,
Druette Towles, Rex Killingsworth and Rhonda Hughes all of Jack.
The family requests memorials be made to Southside Baptist Church in Troy.
Pallbearers are Deacons of Southside Baptist Church.
Honorary pallbearers are Ladies V (Gleaners) Sunday School at Southside Baptist
Blanche Coela King
Services for Blanche Coela King, 87, of Vista, Calif., who died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at her daughter’s home will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at 2D Missionary Baptist Church in Oceanside, Calif., with Pastor Charles Price officiating.
Burial will be on Friday, April 26, 2002, in Carroll St. Cemetery in Troy.
Visitation was from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2002, at Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside.
She was born on Nov. 27, 1914, in Alabama and retired from Day Care as a cook.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Emma Noble.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Willie and Myra King of Plainville, Conn.; daughter and her husband, Beverly and Rev. Chris E. Wardell of Vista, Calif.; sister, Dixie Lee Smith of Troy;
grandchildren, Kimberly Rhodes of Ca., Markita Harrington of Chesapeake, Va., Jannelle Spells of Vista, Calif. And Aaron King of Plainville, Conn.
Billy Dewey Locklar
Billy Dewey Locklar, 60, 4611 Narrow Lane Road, Montgomery, died in his home Saturday, April 20, 2002.
Services will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Clifford Mathews officiating. Burial will follow in Ramah Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of troy directing.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24, 2002, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
He was a retired employee of Easter Seals Rehabilitation Service with 38 years of service.
Survivors include: his wife, Doris Locklar of Montgomery, sons Barry Locklar of Montgomery and Ronnie Locklar of Columbus, Ga.; his mother, Elna Locklar David of Troy; and a brother, Johnny Locklar of Troy.
Pallbearers will be Charles Frazier, Larry Johnson, Jimmy Kennington, Billy Thacker, Mack Thacker and Carl Tucker.
Honorary pallbearers will be co-workers at Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center.
Memorials may be made to the Easter Seal or Northside Baptist Church.
