Effie Mae McLeod

Services for Effie Mae McLeod, 90, of Troy who died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Edge Regional Medical Center will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Marvin Jackson officiating.

Burial will be in Henderson Memorial Cemetery in Henderson under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carlos McLeod; sisters, Thelma King and Grace Norris and a brother, Paxton Williamson.

The family requests memorials be made to Henderson Memorial Cemetery Fund

of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Ann and Bill Howell of Goshen; three sons and their wives, Donald McLeod of Goshen, Joe and Opal McLeod of Geneva and Larry and Janith McLeod of Brundidge; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Naomi Shows of Luverne and Betty Sue McLeod of Goshen and one brother-in-law, Ray McLeod of Selma.

Pallbearers are grandsons, grandsons-in-law and nephews.
