From Special Reports – The Pike County Troy State Alumni and Friends chapter will hold their annual meeting at the Green Davis Tailgate Terrace outside of Memorial Stadium on Thursday night. The event is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

Kelly’s BBQ of Elba will do the cooking and TSU Athletic Director Johnny Williams and head football coach Larry Blakeney will discuss Trojan athletics and football.

Admission is the annual dues of $25 per couple and $15 for single membership.

All proceeds goes to Troy State scholarships at Pike Liberal Arts School and Charles Henderson High School.

"We want everyone to make their plans to be there," said TSU alumni affairs spokesperson Mike Amos. "It’s a chance to join your friends for a night of great food and good fellowship. Let’s show our Trojans some support and be there on Thursday night."

Children are also welcome at

the event for a cost of $5 per plate.
