Irene Basham Seepe

Services for Irene Basham Seepe, 90, of Clinton, Miss., who died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at Clinton health and Rehabilitation Center, were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Clinton Cemetery.

Burial was under the direction of Mark Seepe Funeral Home of Jackson.

Mrs. Seepe was a native of Bessemer and a resident of Clinton. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Karl E. Seepe Sr.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Karl E. Seepe Jr. and Bettye, of Clinton; a granddaughter and her husband, Kimberly S. and Hamp Beatty of Newton, Miss.; a grandson, Mark E. Seepe of Jackson; and four great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be made to the Library Fund of the first Baptist Church, 430 N. President St., Jackson, Miss., 39201.

Masedonie Comer

Services for Masedonie Comer, 87, of Ariton, who died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, will be at 3 p.m. today at St. Louis Baptist Church with the Rev. Windell Comer officiating.

Burial will be in the churchyard cemetery under the direction of Bell’s Liptrot/Dawson Funeral Home.
