Mary Adkinson Lowery

Services for Mary Adkinson Lowery, 66, of De Funiak Springs, Fla., who went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 16, 2002, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2002, at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Lawerence Lowery officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Spring Hill under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2002, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lowery was born in Troy and raised at the Baptist Children’s Home. She attended Troy High School.

Survivors include a husband of 49 years Rev. Frank P. Lowery of De Funiak Springs, Florida;

two sons and wife, Freddy and Brenda Lowery of Athens, Tennessee and John "C.B." Lowery of Athens, Tennessee; three daughters and their husbands, Levorah Lowery of Athens, Tennessee, Rose and Jeff Cummings of Richmond, Virginia and Paula and Garland Evans of Athens, Tennessee; six grandchildren and a sister, Jeanette Jones of Auburn.

The family request memorials be made to the Gideons.

Pallbearers will be the nephews, Phillip Cardwell, Carmi Lowery, Neil Lowery, Wade Lowery, Shane Peacock and Mike Thenn.
