Myrtle L. Kelley

Services for Myrtle L. Kelley, 73, of Troy who died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at Edge Regional Medical Center will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2002 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Don Hatcher officiating.

She will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Bluff Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffee County under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kelley was born on Feb. 25, 1929 in Coffee County. Her parents were Andy Henderson and Tellis Henderson. She was a seamstress and worked in the textile industry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Alto Kelley.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Louie Wayne and Shirley

A.Kelley of Glenwood, Raymond S. and Kathleen Kelley of Enterprise and James Robert and Marie Kelley of Troy; daughter and her husband, Roxie and George Robinson of Troy; two sisters, Mozell Fortune of Dothan and Magalene Hall of Jack; two brothers MacArthur Henderson of Troy and Maxwell Henderson of Ashford; grandchildren, Teresa Baker of Glenwood, Latisha Schultz of Enterprise, Rebecca Kelley of Enterprise, Donovan Kelly of Glenwood and Rachael Kelley of Enterprise; two great-grandchildren, Matthew Baker of Glenwood and

Rachael Senn of Glenwood.

Pallbearers are Terry Baker, George Millette, Melvin Wilkes, Byron Wilkes, Mike Kelly and Willie Culpepper.

Peggy Turk Locklar

Graveside services for Peggy Turk Locklar, 74, of Boynton Beach, Fla., who died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, in Boynton Beach will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, in Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with Rev. Steve Rascoe officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell "Doc" Locklar in 2001.

Survivors include

two sons and their wives, J, Scott and Sue Locklar, DC of Baynton Beach Fla., and Jeffrey A and Janet Locklar of Calif.; daughter and her husband, Marianne and Dale Hammack of Wellington, Fla.; grandchildren, Scott and Brian Locklar, Sarah and Katie Hammack and Jason Locklar; two great-grandchildren, Kylie and Cameron Locklar; brother, Aquilla Turk of Tallahassee, Fla., and two sisters, Ann Taylor of Oxnard, Calif. and Mary Baruch of West Palm Beach, Fla.

 

Willie Fletcher Stovall

Graveside services for Willie Fletcher Stovall, 95, of Troy who died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at her home will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002.

Burial will be in Stoneville

Cemetery in Leland, Miss., under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Stovall, Sr.; daughter, Nancey Anne Catledge and a son, John A. Stovall, Jr.

Survivors include, two sons and their wives, Fletcher and Corinne Stovall of St. Louis, Missouri and Peter and Merle Anne Stovall of Mt. Home, Arkansas;

daughter and her husband, Christine and Bob Green of Troy; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
