Henry C. Neal
Services for Henry C. Neal, 66, of Clinton, Okla., and formerly of Pike County, who died Wednesday, Feb. 12,
will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Whitewater Missionary Baptist Church in Troy with the Rev. W.C. White officiating.
Burial will be at the Fox and Francis White Memorial Cemetery in the Whitewater Community under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.
Visitation begins at noon Monday at the funeral home.
He was born Nov. 16, 1936, in Pike County, the son of Robert Neal and Henrietta Gibson Neal. He attended public schools in Pike County was a U.S. Army veteran. He founded and operated Color Craft Auto Body Shop for many years in Elk City, Okla., where he also was an associate member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lela C. Neal of Jersey City, N.J.; two daughters, Annie C. Meldon and Catherine Williams, both of Jersey City; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Annie Mae Patterson of Brundidge, Arie and Thomas White of Troy and Dorothy Neal of Jersey City; one brother, Willie C. Neal; a special friend, Barbara Hayes of Clinton, Okla.; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers and flowerbearers.
