Dan Junior Dansby
Graveside services for Dan Junior Dansby, 77, of Brundidge who died at his residence was at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2003 at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge with Rev. Johnny Turvin officiating.
Mr. Dansby lay-in state from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial was under the direction of Skeen funeral home of Troy.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He was born June 05, 1926 in Pike County.
Mr Dansby was retired from the Highway Department with State of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan Dansby and Mollie Owens Dansby.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby B. Dansby of Brundidge; daughter, Susie Dansby
Farley of Smithville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amber Nicole Hurd and Charlie Hurd; daughter, Jackie Dansby Wehage of Sparta, Tennessee; grandchildren, Christopher Homer Sneed, Jacqueline Latashia Sneed and Mathew Robert Elder; step grandson, Nathan George Wehage; great-grandchild, Ian Zachery Sneed; four sisters, Mary K. Moore of Troy, Emery Blair of Troy, Verion Dorrill of Brundidge and Nell Hinson of Troy; four brothers, Travis Dansby of Dothan, Vernon Dansby of Montgomery, Murray Dansby of Troy and Rex Dansby of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Pallbearers were Joe Dorrill, Charles Dansby, Chip Vance, Chris Dansby, Jessie Dorrill and Robert Rugg.
Janice Marie Wilkerson Abercrombie
Graveside services for Janice Marie Wilkerson Abercrombie, 66, of Lebanon, Tennessee who died Friday, October 31, 2003 in Tennessee will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Springhill Cemetery in Troy.
Mrs. Abercrombie was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Rose Marie Lamb Wilkerson and a sister, Barbara Newell.
Survivors include her husband, Frank C. Abercrombie; three children, Greg and Denise Grech of Antioch, California, Rick and Lana Grech of Freemont, California and Noel and Roger Tippett of Lebanon, Tennessee; step son, Robert Wayne Abercrombie of Lebanon and a sister, Judy Hopkins of Cottonwood, Arizona.
