Carlton Passmore, 65, died Aug. 29, 2004, at Troy Regional Medical Center.

Services were held Sept. 3, 2004, at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Sankey officiating.

Visitation was held Sept. 2 at Harrison Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his wife, Linda Passmore of Troy; nine children, Aletha (Willie) Fayson, Wanda (Nathaniel) Lawson, Frankie (Nikki) Passmore, Kenyatta Passmore, James Carl Passmore and Carlos Passmore, all of Troy, Keela (Johnny) Childs and Phyllis Passmore, both of Atlanta, Ga., and Catina Passmore of Birmingham; four sisters, Mary (O.C.) Carter of Buffalo, N.Y.; Annie Mell (Lewis) McCray of New Orleans, La., I.A. Jewel Norma (Robert) Jordan of Detroit, Mich, and Betty (Walter) Henderson of Troy; one brother, Eugene (Wonnie Mae) Passmore of Middletown, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, two extended daughters, Marcia (Milton) Scott and Monica Coward; several cousins, other relatives and friends.
