Catherine Braswell Kelley

Funeral services for Catherine Braswell Kelley, 83, will be held Friday, September 2, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Don Hatcher will officiate and burial will follow in Memory Gardens with Chapman Funeral Home of Eufaula directing.

Mrs. Kelley died Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at her home in Batesville. She was born July 2, 1922 in Batesville.

Mrs. Kelley was a graduate of Eufaula High School class of 1943. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Wiregrass Hospice of Eufaula., P.O. Box 1378, Eufaula, Al. 36072 or Bethany House Hospice of East Alabama Medical Center, 1171 Gatewood Dr., Bldg. 100, Auburn, Al. 36830.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Tera Lee Braswell.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, F.M. Kelley of Eufaula; son and his wife, Mike and Pam Kelley of Troy; daughter and her husband, Patricia and Edwin Rea of Alpharetta, Georgia; 5 grandchildren, Tera and David McWhorter of Dahlonega, Georgia, George and Christine Rea of Canton, Georgia, Adam and Angie Kelley of Troy, Anna and Chris Lowery of Troy and Sarah Rea of Alpharetta; great-grandchildren, Grant, Evan and Adam Rea and Laney and Hunter Kelley and a sister, Elizabeth Hatfield of Eufaula.

Pallbearers will be George Rea, Adam Kelley, David McWhorter, Chris Lowery, Jim Dykes and John Deloney.
