Mary Ann T. Barr

Mary Ann T. Barr, 91, of Banks, died at Troy Health and Rehab in Troy, Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home chapel in Troy on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005 at 2p.m. with the Rev. Johnnie Dunn officiating.

The pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family request that memorials be made to Banks Baptist Church or to your favorite charity.

She is survived by her children, DeLeon (Katie) Barr, Jr. of Huntsville, Vivian Ezell of Troy, Gay (Bill) Beck of Troy, Joe (Tinette) Barr of Prattville, sister-in-law, Vira Smith of St. Petersburg, Fla., 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchidlren, five great great grandchildren, special niece, Joan (Robert) Price and several other nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Barr was preceded in death by her husband, DeLeon Barr, son, Sonny T. Barr, granddaughter, Tamara Bice and a great grandson, Noel Gunter.

Carrie P. Holder

Carrie P. Holder, 83, of Tennille died at her home Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005.

Visitation will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The funeral service will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at 11 a.m.with the Rev. Gerald Wilkes officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

The pallbearers will be Billy Carroll, John P. Johnston, Jack Harden, Ricky Graham, Wyman McWaters and Paul Harden. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Tennille United Methodist Church, C/O, John P. Johnston, 253 Nassau Street, Brundidge, Alabama

Mrs. Holder is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Pryor of Tennille and numerous nieces and nephews.
