Ruby J. Bundy Mobley
Services for Ruby J. Bundy Mobley, 92, of Banks who died Sunday, October 30, 2005, at her residence were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Elder Ernest Brooks and Chaplain John Withrock officiating.
She will lay in state for one hour prior to the service.
Burial followed in Union Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, between Brundidge and Springhill.
Visitation was Monday, October 31 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bundy was born December 20, 1912 in Pike County. She was a homemaker. A native of Pike County, Mrs. Mobley was a life long member of Union Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Y. J. Allen and Queen Victoria
Layton Allen; husbands, Bobby Relent Bundy and Richard Wesley Mobley; son, Decobie Bundy; brothers, Marcus Allen, Mallory Allen, Freeman Allen, Ernest Allen and Benford Allen; sisters, Rosie Dillard and Verbie Boutwell; son-in-law, Ray Maulden and daughter-in-law, Barbara Bundy.
Survivors include her sons, Bobby Bundy of Troy, Jimmy Bundy of Brundidge, and Billy L. Bundy of Banks; daughter, Vonnie Maulden of Brundidge; sister, Aritta Senn of Brundidge; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Bundy, Billy Wayne Bundy, Michael Bundy, Ronnie Bundy, Billy Ray Bundy and James Maulden.
Honorary pallbearers will be the other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family request memorials be made to Covenant Hospice, 207 West Adams Street, Dothan, Alabama, 36303.
