Nadean S. Reed

Nadean S. Reed, 92, of Brundidge died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at Ozark Health & Rehab in Ozark.

at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ in Brundidge with Minister Douglas Williams officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery

under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge. Visitation was one hour prior to the service.

She was born Aug. 2, 19122, in Pike County to the late Willie Lafayette Shiver and Lula Johnston Shiver. She was a retired payroll clerk.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, R. V. Reed; brothers Ezra L. Shiver and Clifton Shiver; and one great grandson.

Survivors include a son and wife, Terry W. and Nonna Reed; four grandchildren, Terry Lee, Tammy Taylor, Mike Reed and Tyler Reed, all of Brundidge; 12 great grandchildre; two brothers and their wives, Jerry and Joann Shiver and James and Myra Shiver; two sisters and their husbands, Margaret

S. Roberts, Louise S. and Roy L. &uot;Buck&uot; Roberts, Sr. all of Brundidge; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers were Mike Reed, Tyler Reed, Jason Lee, Jaramie Reed, Sonny Robers, Bill Roberts and Justin Reed.

Charles W. &#8220Scotty” Sauers, Age 89 of Troy Died Saturday, January 28, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia.  Funeral Arrangements and survivors will be announced later by Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

William H. &#8220Bill” Segars

William H. &#8220Bill” Segars, 68 of Troy, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in Birmingham.

Visitation was held at First United Methodist Church in Troy on Friday, January 27, 2006 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

The funeral service was held at First United Methodist Church in Troy at 4:00 PM with Reverend Alan McBryde and Reverend John Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Jake Doty, Joe Watson, Wendly Wade Tatom, Tommy Dillard, Spencer Burkett, and Frazier Tatum. Honorary pallbearers will be Nell Stinson and Dexter Williamson. The family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or First United Methodist Church of Troy.

Survivors include, Wife, Jane Qualls Segars of Troy, Children, Mary Carol Segars(Emory) Haley, Jeff (Ellen) Segars, Ree Segars Pate, Stepchildren, John Paul(Tammy) Senn, Stacy Senn, Leslie Elaine(Frazier) Tatum, Grandchildren, Alexis Segars Pate, Leslie Haley, Mary Frances Segars, and

Bryant Segars, Sisters, Jo Segars (Bill) Nabers, and Jane Segars (Ed) Landers and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Segars practiced pharmacy for 48 years and the last 23 years were at Troy Regional Medical Center.
