Ed McCormick

Ed McCormick, 62, of Goshen, died at Prattville Health and Rehab, Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Friday, Jan. 27, 2006 from 1p.m. until 2p.m.. Graveside services will be held at Elam Cemetery in Goshen on Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at 2:30 p.m. with teh Rev. David Mount officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Rhodes, Rex Rhodes, Mack Rhodes, Ralph Rhodes, Clark Coggins, Daryl Betts, Mitchell Harris and Johnny Leverette. T

he family request that memorials be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, New York 10018.

Survivors include, son, Jim (Shellia) McCormick of Montgomery, grandchildren, Elena McCormick and Martin McCormick, Mother, Winnie C. McCormick of Goshen, two sisters, Del Parker of Macon, Miss., and Jean Kelley of Brewton.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna McCormick and his father, Aubrey McCormick.

Ellie Mae Brown Redmon McCall

Ellie Mae Brown Redmon McCall, 87 of Troy, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, in Troy. 

The visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. 

The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at 11a.m. with Minister George Merritt officiating. 

Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery. 

Honorary pallbearers are the staff and residents of Noble Manor. 

Survivors include niece, Mary Davis Martin of Wetumpka, two nephews, Leo (Ann) Davis of Foley, Jimmy (Irma Jean) Davis of Troy,  great nieces and nephews, Lisa R. Woodard of Wetumpka,  Connie Gunn of Gadsden,  Elizabeth Register of Troy, Dale Davis of Daphne, Charles Davis of Troy,  preceded in death by her husband,  Lucious McCall. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Light House Hospice, 413 B. South Brundidge St., Troy, Alabama ,36081

Louise Hattaway

Louise Hattaway, 84, of Brundidge, died at Extendicare in Dothan, Monday, Jan. 23, 2006.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006. from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mack King and the Rev. Sammy Turner officiating.

Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Banks. The family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

The pallbearers are Freddie Daughtry, Sammy Daughtry, Jim Daughtry, Mickey Daughtry, Charles Senn and Edward Medley. The honorary pallbearers are Grandsons, Randall Hattaway and Mike Ziglar.

She is survived by, husband, Eugene Hattaway of Brundidge, son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Faye Hattaway of Banks, daughter and son-in-law, Jaunita and Vincent Ziglar of Elba, grandsons, Randall Hattaway of Banks and Mike Ziglar of Opp, great granddaughters, Carmen Ziglar and Kayla Ziglar of Troy, Sister, Doris Slaughter of Troy, several nieces and nephews, adopted Grandchildren, Haley and Hayden Ellis.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Stacey Hattaway, parents, Bill and Effie Hughes, Step-mother, Jane Hughes, Brother, J.D. Hughes and Sister, Mary Darby.
