Ann F. Witherington
Funeral services for Ann F. Witherington, a lifelong resident of Troy, who died Thursday Jan. 25, 2007, at her home, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Southside Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy.
Visitation will be held from 1 until 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Witherington was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey B. and Florine H. Fordham, and her brother, Harvey B. Fordham Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Joel A. Witherington; children, John H. Witherington Sr. (Barbara), JoAnn W. Newman (Jimmy) and Nancy W. Strother (Barron); grandchildren, Ashley Tate (Jeff), Chris Giglio (Stephanie), John Witherington Jr. (Ivy), Shelli Strother (Matt), Morgan Palmer (Will) and Jay Strother; great grandchildren, Luke Tate, Seth Tate, Joel Tate, Haleigh Giglio, Adrienne Giglio, John Witherington, III, Laura Ashley Witherington, Jon Matthew Allen, Strother Allen, Ann Rose Allen and Fordham Palmer; sister, Ina Livings (Harold); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robert Elmore, Todd Floyd, Bruce Long, Terry Motes, Jeff Strickland and David Tisdale.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Southside prayer group.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to
Southside Baptist Church Child Development Center.
Mrs. Louie Wood
Graveside services for Louie Wood, 99, a resident of Luverne Nursing Home, formerly of Troy, who died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, in Luverne, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Green Hills Memorial Park with the Rev. Bo Weed officiating.
Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ben Wood.
She is survived by several nieces, a nephew and other relatives and friends.
Vivian Grimes McCall
Funeral services for Vivian Grimes McCall, a resident of Montgomery, who died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, will be at noon Saturday at Leak-Memory Chapel.
Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Good Hope Cemetery in Troy.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am until noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. McCall was preceded in death by her husband, C. Lawrence McCall, and her parents, J.B. and Estelle Grimes.
She is survived by her daughters, Norma (Mike) McAllister and Nina (Ricky) Davis; grandchildren, Chris and Mark Evans, Robert Chandler and Dana Davis; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Scott and Felicity Evans and Claire Chandler; sister, Mary Gouley; and her nephew, Bill Gouley.
