The holiday shopping season will get an early start in Brundidge tonight when four shops open their doors and welcome browsers and buyers to Open House.

Main Street businesses, Jackson Hardware and Brundidge Florist, have been hosting open house for several years and will, once again, open their doors to night-time shoppers from 4 until 8 o’clock tonight. The shops will offer refreshments and 20 percent off cash purchases.

The hardware and florist open houses will continue from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday.

Price Pharmacy will be host open house from tonight from 4 until 6 o’clock as will its gift shop which is one of two new Brundidge businesses that will participate in the seasonal Open House weekend.

The Gift Shoppe on S.A. Graham Blvd. and Ms. Colleen’s on South Main Street will welcome shoppers to the holiday season.

The Gift Shoppe Holiday Open House will be from 4 to 6 p.m. and feature door prizes and great holiday sales. Refreshments will also be served.

Ms. Colleen’s will be open tonight from 4 until 8 o’clock and will offer 10 percent off cash purchases and sweet treats to shoppers.
