TCS continues strategy

The Troy City School Board is continuing its efforts to further implement its strategic plan.
Dan Joslyn of Joslyn Consulting of Atlanta gave the board an update on the school system’s strategic plan Monday night. He said the plan will give the board more accountability than it has ever had.
“The plan is an ongoing vehicle for the implementation of the first year of the strategic plan,’ Joslyn said.
Board member Judson Edwards complimented Joslyn on the school system’s Web site.
Joslyn said the emphasis of the strategic plan is to keep things moving forward and the plan is even more essential as the school system is faced with proration.
School will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on Friday in order for the teachers to attend a professional development activity. Vertical training for the lower grades will be in mate at Troy Elementary School and for grades six through 12 at Charles Henderson High School.
