MONROE, La. — A slow start put Troy behind early and the Trojans were never able to recover, falling to the ULM Warhawks 70-42 at Fant-Ewing Coliseum in front of a national television audience.
Donette McNair recorded her fifth double-double of her career in the loss, collecting 10 points and 11 rebounds.

After the game was tied, McNair gave the Trojans a 12-10 lead with 13:21 to play in the opening half. ULM tied the game at 12-all when Moore hit a short jumper, before Morrissy gave Troy a 14-12 lead with 12:54 remaining in the opening half.
After ULM tied the score at 14-all just outside of the first media timeout, Troy went 10 minutes without a field goal.
