Troy Ozone Rookies exact revenge

After going down 1-0 in the top of the first, the Troy Ozone Rookie Tournament team scored two in the bottom of the inning and never trailed again. Troy beat the Enterprise Americans 5-1 Saturday night in Troy to avenge a loss in a practice tournament last weekend in Enterprise.
“This was a great game and we hate to use the word revenge, but it felt good to beat a good team like that after they had beaten us before,” Troy head coach Don Simmons said. “It was a sweet win.”
The Enterprise Americans beat Troy 6-4 in a warmup tournament last weekend and Simmons said the win Saturday night in Troy was great.
After Kade Grant scored for Enterprise in the first inning, Hayes Lee and Montana Brown scored for Troy for the win. Morgan Sullivant scored in the third, Brown scored in the fourth and Hunter Blackmon scored in the fifth for Troy.
Up next for Troy is the championship game on Tuesday against the winner of the Eufaula-Enterprise Americans that will be played Monday at 6 p.m.
In other Troy baseball action, the Ozone Nationals beat Slocumb 11-1 in Eufaula and will play again Monday, the Ozone Americans lost 3-1 to Eufaula in Eufaula and will play again Monday, the Minor Nationals lost 15-3 to Luverne in Luverne and were eliminated, the Minor Rookie Americans beat the Enterprise Nationals 6-5 in Eufaula and will play again Monday, the Farm Americans beat the Enterprise Nationals and will play again Monday and the Farm Nationals lost 12-4 to the Enterprise Americans and will play again Monday.
