A Goshen man was the victim of a fatal wreck when his vehicle overturned several times early Saturday morning.
Jerry McClain, 53, was traveling on County Road 1101 in a 2001 Ford Mustang when the incident occurred.
Initial investigation from the Alabama Department of Public Safety indicates McClain was traveling above the posted speed limit on a wet road, when he lost control of his vehicle, that overturned and landed on the roof.
The crash took place around 1 a.m. about 3.5 miles west of Troy. At this time, alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
McClain was pronounced dead on the scene by Pike County Coroner Jerry Williams.
Troopers continue to investigate the incident.
