Spring Bible Conference to be held at ‘God’s Way’ Sunday

“The Heart of the Home” will be the focus of the Spring Bible Conference at God’s Way Baptist Church of Troy March 7 through 10.
“All of the sessions will deal with Biblical principles of the home that bring honor and glory to God,” said the Rev. Chad Teal, church pastor. “The emphasis will be on the home and anyone who is looking to make their marriage better or guidance on raising their children or being a better husband, wife, parent, son, daughter or having a better relationship with their siblings is encourage to attend. The information that will be provided is from the Word of God.”
The Spring Bible Conference will open on Sunday, March 7 with four services.
The Rev. Dave Turner, a minister with the Gulf Coast prison ministry, will be the guest speaker at the 9:45 and 11 a.m. services. The 6 and 7 p.m. services will be conducted by Dr. Jeff Amsbaug, Grace Baptist Church, Columbus, Ga.
Special music will be presented by The Marshall Sisters of West Virginia at all four Sunday services.
“The Marshall Sisters are the youngest members of the John Marshall Family singers,” Teal said. “I don’t know how to describe their music. It’s a combination of bluegress, gospel and traditioinal music and also includes a cappella singing. Everyone will enjoy hearing God’s message in song.”
Amsbaug will also be the featured speaker for the Monday through Wednesday night services which will beging at 7 p.m.
Chris Chavez, a children’s and youth minister, will lead the music ministry.
“He will also have special children’s programs at 6 p.m. on Sunday and at 7 p.m. on Wednesday,” Teal said.
“This will be our first Spring Bible Conference and we hope to make it an annual event. Everyone is invited to participate and will be welcomed.”
