The search continues for 14-year-old Amber Price of Brundidge, who has been missing since Feb. 22.
“We haven’t been in touch with her, she hasn’t called, we haven’t heard nothing,” said Chris Adamson, the girl’s father.
It’s believed by family members and authorities that Price ran away from home between 5 and 6 a.m. almost two weeks ago.
The only known contact with Price since then happened that Friday Feb. 26.
“Two phone calls were made to her mother, both on that Friday,” Adamson said.
The child’s aunt, Jamie Duffell has been working with Adamson and local law enforcement to locate Price.
“We’ve got billboards up from Birmingham to Dothan,” Adamson said.
Additionally, the family has passed out flyers and had the story run on WNCF news in Montgomery.
Adamson said he plans to continue the campaign by utilizing more billboards and going into other areas.
The Brundidge Police Department has been working on the case, as well.
“They’re investigating as much as they can,” Adamson said. “We just don’t have any leads. We don’t have much to go on.”
BPD released a statement saying that anyone having information on the whereabouts of Price would be advised to contact their local law enforcement agency. The department warned that anyone found harboring a juvenile runaway would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
“I want to thank everybody for praying for her,” Adamson said. “I just hope we get her back soon, safe and sound.”
Anyone with information pertinent to this case should contact the BPD at 735-3333 or Duffell at 372-3050 or 243-5229. They can also call Adamson at 735-5689 or 372-8068.
