Mr. Vernon L. Napper, 79, of Troy, died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. Service for Mr. Vernon L. Napper will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 18, 20l0 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Frank Lowery &Speaker Joey Jackson officiating. Burial in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Mr. Napper will lie in state at the funeral home,1 hr. prior to the service. The family will receive friends Saturday, April l7, 2010 beginning at 6:00 pm. at the funeral home in Troy. Mr. Napper was born in Coffee County, Al., April 30, 1930 to the late R. J. &Gussie Williams Napper. He is preceded in death by a sister, Mattie Lou Head. Surviving relatives include a wife, Mary Napper, Troy, sons &wives, Freddie &Jane Napper, Troy, Mickey &Angelia Napper, Jack, (3) granddaughters, Nicole Napper &Holli Napper, both of Troy. Courtney Napper, Jack and grandson, Taylor Napper, Troy. Cousins, Lessie &R. D. Harrison, Elba, Comer &Annie Ray Williams, Troy. Nephews, Jeff Head, Kennesaw, Ga. Harold &Joyce Head, Thomaston, Ga. &their (2) sons, Jeremy &Joel Head, Atlanta, Ga. and lots of nieces &nephews. Pallbearers are Larry Green, Mike Senn, Tom Harris, Kevin Sheets, Jim Grice &Donnie Brown, Alternates will be Kenneth Senn &Eddie White. Honorary will be employees of Flint Equipment, Jeff &Harold Head, Jeremy &Joel Head and Taylor Napper.
