The Troy man who was arrested on felony charges for allegedly making terrorist threats Saturday may be forced to undergo psychiatric treatment.
David Kubishin, 50, sat before Probate Judge Wes Allen in a hearing Tuesday, which took place in order to determine whether Kubishin should be analyzed by mental health professionals.
“We found probable cause and sent him to an institution to be evaluated,” Allen said.
Kubishin is currently at the psychiatric unit of the Bullock County Hospital where he is being examined.
The results of the evaluation will be heard at a final hearing Friday at 10 a.m., where a decision is scheduled to be made on Kubishins’ fate.
