Four Troy residents were arrested in a Friday afternoon home search, where drugs were found in the residence.
Around 1:30 p.m., members of the 12th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Troy Police Department Emergency Response team executed a search warrant at 108 Crowe Street, according to information released by Chief Anthony Everage.
The reason the warrant was issued was to search for drugs at the residence, said Troy Police spokesman Sgt. Benny Scarbrough.
Demetrius L. Woods, 22; Castillo Suddith, 24; and two minors, all of Troy, were arrested at the scene.
The minor suspects were 18 and 19 years old, and because of their eligibility for youthful offender status, the police department would not release their names.
All face charges of possession of marijuana first degree and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.
Scarbrough also said officers confiscated marijuana, scales used in weighing marijuana and Loritab synthetic narcotics from the scene.
The four suspects were taken to the Troy City Jail and later transferred to the Pike County Jail, where their bond is set at $15,000 each.
The drug task force is composed of two Troy Police Officers and a Pike County Sheriff’s Department deputy.
