Fairhope eliminates Junior Boys

ENTERPRISE – Troy’s Junior Boys were eliminated Monday from the state tournament with a 4-3 loss to Fairhope.
Jerrell Lawson belted to homeruns for Troy to drive home all three runs.
DeAndre Pitts pitched all seven innings in the losing effort.
“I’m proud of the way we competed,” head coach Sam Kitchens said. “We just came up a little short.”
Drew Starling, Morgan Sullivant, Kiegan Simmons, and Cole Sanders also had hits for Troy.
