Mary Rebecca Richardson

Mary Rebecca Richardson Green, 97, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Troy Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 21, 2011, 11 a.m., from Zebulon Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Dunn and Rev. Earl Oakes officiating. Burial will follow in Sandfield Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.

She was born Nov. 4, 1913 in Pike County and was the oldest member of Zebulon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Lloyd Green; three infant children, granddaughters Faye Green Garrett and Pam Boutwell and great-granddaughter Haley LeAnn Garrett.

She is survived by two daughters, Katie (Ken) Boutwell of Carrollton, VA and Mary (Tommy) Adams of Troy; son Andrew (Bonnie) Green of Troy; grandchildren Kay Powell, April Sneed, Kay Sneed, Lucy Oakes, Tony Adams, Toby Adams and Marshe Lewis and many great- and great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be the great-grandsons: Anthony Adams, Taylor Adams, Ashley Lewis, Ashton Lewis, T. V. Sneed, Taylor Sneed, Tyler Sneed and Charles Bundy.
