Troy point guard Will Weathers is questionable for the Trojans game against North Texas on Saturday.

Weathers apparently rolled his ankle in the final stages of the Trojans 79-62 loss to Denver. It is the same injury Weathers battled through earlier in the season.

Head coach Don Maestri said they will tape his ankle and see how he feels prior to North Texas. While he said Weathers was questionable, he did not sound overly optimistic.

Weathers is leading the team in scoring with 13.4 points per game and the Sun Belt in assists (6.3 apg).

Weathers missed Troy’s first game against East Tennessee State with the same injury.

Emil Jones will move to run the Trojan offense if Weathers in unable to play.
