A tractor-trailer with a full load overturned in the Banks community Friday just before noon.
The driver only suffered minor injuries, according to first responders at the scene. State Troopers said the cargo was frozen chicken feet. The product remained in the truck after the crash.
The tractor-trailer was headed east on State Highway 93 in Pike County. Tire marks were heavy on the right shoulder of the road where the wheels of the vehicle dug into red clay.
The tractor-trailer came to rest on its right side in the front yard of a home, just beyond the Banks Buy-Rite.
The wreck is under investigation by State Troopers and no further information was available Friday night.
