This weekend, Troy University will host its annual Spring Reunion.

“Spring Reunion is much like Homecoming,” said Faith Ward, the university’s alumni affairs director.

This year, ceremonies during the reunion will recognize all classes ending in “2,” Ward said. Silver Trojans, those who graduated at least 25 years ago, and Golden Trojans, those who graduated at least 50 years ago, will also be honored.

The weekend will offer opportunities for people visiting the campus to see several sporting events, including baseball games and the T-Day football scrimmage. There will also be a fish fry, St. Patrick’s Day-themed parade and a few opportunities to see the new musical “Band Geeks,” written by a 2003 Troy alumnus.

“There will be a lot of fun games and chances to get reacquainted with each other and the campus,” Ward said.
