Ticket information was announced Tuesday for the inaugural Troy University Sports Hall of Fame class ceremony.

The class of 11 will be inducted in a ceremony held at the new Trojan Arena on Friday, August 10, at 6p.m.

The 2012 Troy University Sports Hall of Fame Class includes: Ralph Adams (administration), Billy Atkins (football), Larry Blakeney (football), Sim Byrd (football), Don Maestri (men’s basketball), Vergil Parks KcKinley (football), Denise Monroe (women’s basketball), Charles Oliver (track & field), Chase Riddle (baseball), Mike Turk (football), DeMarcus Ware (football).

Sponsorship packages are available for the event, which will be the first in the new $31 million facility. Packages range from $2,500 to $5,000 while advertising is available from $1,000 to $2,000. An eight-seat table is $800 while single tickets are available for $100.

Two of the inductees – Don Maestri and Larry Blakeney – are active head coaches with the university. Maestri, who just completed his 30th season on the Trojans bench, guided three teams to NCAA scoring titles (1991, 1992, 1996).

Blakeney was a 2009 inductee into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. He has led the Trojans to winning campaigns in three different divisions (Division II, Division I-AA, Division I-A).

The induction ceremony will be held on the court floor and will utilize the state-of-the-art interactive digital displays for the first time.
