In our continuing efforts to provide the highest levels of academic and athletic excellence, the Pike Liberal Arts School Board and Headmaster Mrs. Ceil Sikes, after careful consideration, are pleased to announce the appointment of Wayne Grant as the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach. Coach Grant brings long-standing and successful leadership in both administration and coaching at both the public and private levels. His football legacy includes 259 wins and 6 state championships. Coach Grant holds a Bachelor’s Degree as well as a Master’s and AA in education from Troy State University and he will continue to teach advanced secondary sciences. Coach Grant is committed to building on the success of the PLAS athletics program, which over the past five years has accumulated eight state championships. The Pike family extends an official and warm welcome to Coach Grant and looks forward to supporting him in his new role.
