L.E. Hickman, age 94, of Brundidge, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Troy Health and Rehab in Troy. Visitation for Mr. Hickman will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Loflin Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Oakes officiating. There will be a one hour lie-in-state at the church prior to the services. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Nell Hickman; two grandsons, Steven (Elaine) Hegler and David (Autum) Hegler; five great grandchildren; several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hickman was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra Hegler and Bonnie Hickman.

Services are under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge.
