Geneva 5, Montgomery American 4

It took an extra inning to separate these two sides as Geneva was able to squeeze out a result in a heated contest.

For Montgomery American, Madison Johnston went 1-for-2 with an RBI triple and Kayla Simpkins went 3-for-3.

For Geneva, Nikki Lamb went 2-for-3, Meagan Lamb went 2-for-3, Lizzy Dale went 1-for-2, Tara Mitchell went 1-for-2 and Avery Nance went 1-for-3.

Butler 22, Tuscumbia 3

Butler jumped off to a 12-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back as they thrashed Tuscumbia in four innings to move on Dixie Ponytails X-Play State Tournament.
