Suburban West 9, Crenshaw County 0

Suburban West punched their ticket to the final of the Dixie Debs State Tournament as they put on a display of impressive softball at the expense of Crenshaw County.

For Suburban West, Sherde Thomas went 2-for-4, Delandria Mallard went 1-for-3 with two RBI’s, Kendeyra McPherson went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Tiera Sykes went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

For Crenshaw County, Allison Riley went 1-for-3, Morgan Jinright went 2-for-2, Kristen McCollough went 1-for-2 and Sylest Phiffer went 1-for-2. Suburban West will face Underwood Tuesday for the championship.

Enterprise 13, Geneva 3

Enterprise asserted their dominance on Geneva, besting them in four innings in the Dixie Ponytails X-Play State Tournament.

For Enterprise, Amalee Forehand went 2-for-3, Hannah Mynard went 2-for-3 with two RBI’s, Hope Mynard went 2-for-2 with two RBI’s, Kelsey Thomas went 2-for-2 with two RBI’s and Shelby Kyser went 2-for-2 with three RBI’s.

For Geneva, Meagan Lamb went 1-for-2, Avery Nance went 2-for-2, Molly Galloway went 1-for-2, Lexie Perry went 1-for-2 with an RBI and Lizzy Dale went 1-for-1.

Underwood 10, East Montgomery 5

Underwood strung together seven runs in the last two innings to give themselves a comfortable cushion over East Montgomery in the Ponytails X-Play State Tournament, eliminating them from the competition.

For Underwood, H. Delia went 2-for-3, A. Clemons went 2-for-3, K. Cox went 2-for-3 and M. Walker went 1-for-2.

For East Montgomery, A. Walden went 3-for-3, F. Rayborn went 2-for-3, and J. Tyson went 1-for-2.
