Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray Dunn are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Elizabeth, to Allan Lee Pennington, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Lee Pennington.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ovie Dee Grimes of Troy and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Richard Dunn of Troy.  She is the graduate of Charles Henderson High School and Auburn University in Montgomery.  She is currently employed as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Crenshaw Community Hospital in Luverne.
The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Carolyn Howard Carroll of Montgomery and the late Mr. Harvill Sellers Carter of Troy and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur William Pennington of Aurora, Ill.  He is the graduate of Goshen High School and is currently employed as a Sergeant with the Troy Fire Department.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 22, 2012, at The Oaks Plantation in Pike Road.
