Mrs. Jean Jalie Herald Fowee of Troy died Thursday, January 10, 2013.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10:00 am from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Dr. Luke Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Green HillsCemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 4 until 6 pm at the funeral home.

She is survived by her Daughter Deborah (Greg) Knighten of Troy, a son Buddy Fowee of Troy, grandchildren Niven Amelia Jalie Fowee, Nikolas Alexander Knighten, great-grandchild Corey Ralph Johnson, her sisters Ann Ware, Nettie Baker, Vee York, Callie Prince and Polly Canada, her brothers Ken Herald and Ed (Joanne) Herald, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Elizabeth Herald, her husband Ralph Fowee and two sisters Vina Kuhn and Dora Fields.

Members of the Troy  Fire Department will serve as active pallbearers and the J.O. Colley Sunday School Class at First Baptist will be honorary pallbearers.
