Obviously, a lot of the attention has been on the most recent Trojans that stepped into minor league baseball, but others are still kicking around.
Chase Whitley is 2-1 with an ERA of 5.00 as a relief pitcher at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in the New York Yankees organization. He threw 80.1 innings for the teams last season going 9-5 with a 3.25 ERA.
Clint Robinson got a cup of coffee with the Royals last year but was traded to Pittsburgh in the offseason. After be waived by the Pirates, Robinson was claimed by Toronto and sent to Double-A New Hampshire. He is currently batting .251 with nine home runs and 33 RBIs.
Adam Bryant is currently on the Disabled List for the Fort Myers Miracle (Class A Advanced, Minnesota). Think he’s learned to throw the frozen ball? (Major League: Back to the Minors reference)
T.J. Rivera is batting .278 for Class A Advanced St. Lucie in the Mets organization.
Check out who’s still hanging around… Adam Godwin is playing for the Sugar Land Skeeters, an independent team located just outside of Houston. Godwin is batting .278 with 29 stolen bases.
Remember Josh Dew from 2007? Well, here he is with the Wichita Wingnuts. Dew is serving as the team’s closer with eight saves and a 1.10 ERA in 16.1 innings.
Just for good measure, here are the links to Logan Pierce, Danny Collins and Trae Santos.
