Albert Bryant

Albert Bryant died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his home after an extended illness. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Baggett and Rev. Don Ash officiating. Burial followed in Springfield Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home in Brundidge. The family received friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the church one hour prior to the service. He was born January 2, 1930 in Coffee County, AL. to Lillor Caroline Bryant and Elbert Larkin Bryant. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Wilson Bryant of 67 years, a son, James Albert Bryant, Jacksonville, Alabama; a daughter, Irene (Johnny) Bryant Bryant of Troy; granddaughters: Beth (Jonathan) Bryant Steed, Misty (Derick) Bryant Holtz, and Haley Bryant, grandsons: Randy (Natalie) Bryant, and Shaun Williamson, great grandchildren; Anna Steed, Hunter Steed, Jackson Rose, Caden Holtz, Ella Roberson and a great grandson expected in January. He was a member of Springfield Baptist Church. When he retired from his welding business in 1992, he was an avid gardener and he loved his chickens. Serving as pallbearers were Jonathan Steed, Hunter Steed, Randy Bryant, Derick Holtz, Shaun Williamson, Jeff Wilson and Jackson Rose.
