Hatfield-Ferrell

Reed and Glenna Hatfield of Leesburg, Ga., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ruth Ellen Hatfield, to Edward G. Ferrell, both of Auburn.

Mr. Ferrell is the son of the late Gay and Myrtice Ferrell of Roanoke.

The future bride is a graduate of Lee County High School, Darton Junior College, and Faulkner University. She is a former elementary school teacher, director of a private Christian pre-School, and is currently part owner of a small business, Cleaning Solutions, in Auburn.

The future groom is a graduate of Handley High School, Roanoke, and Auburn University. He was formerly Assistant Vice President of Capital City Bank in West Point, Ga., Director of IT with J. Smith Lanier Insurance, and is currently the owner of University Sports and Outdoors, an on-line sporting goods store.

The ceremony will be held on Nov. 23, 2013, at 10th Street Church of Christ in Opelika, Alabama.
